Jeram Tinggi Fall

天空出现美丽的曙光，美好的一天即将开始。

Great start of the day!

与其它登金山路线相比，Ulu Jementah路线攀爬金山是最少人使用，而且还是时间最长、最艰辛的路线。原本只需1天时间就可来回登上金山，但这条路线却需2天时间才可登顶，全程共有5个休息站。这次我们取Ulu Jementah路线参观位于登山路线上第一站的Jeram Tinggi瀑布。

我们从南北大道的Tangkak出口处来到Tangkak，再使用23号公路来到Jementah。在Kampung Paya Jakas附近转进乡村小路（Jalan Kolam Air）前往森林边缘的停车场。

Comparing with other Gunung Ledang hiking trails, Ulu Jementah trail is the less famous trail, it takes the longest time and the toughest trail to summit. Normally it takes 1 day to up & down from the summit, but via Ulu Jementah it needs 2 days to reach summit. Along the route there are 5 checkpoints. This time we visited Jeram Tinggi Fall which is the first checkpoint.

We took road no.23 from Tangkak to Jementah. Then turn into Jalan Kolam Air near Kampung Paya Jakas, drove all the way to the jungle border.

离小径入口不远，就需渡过第一条河。

The first river crossing, not too far away from the trailhead.

除了过河后一小段湿滑的陡坡外，整体来说，这小径的地势还算平坦。穿对了鞋子，就不怕滑到了。

The overall terrain can be said is flat. The only tough part is the 1 only steep slope after first river crossing. It can be quite slippery if not wearing the suitable footwear.

一路上不乏精彩，有许多有趣的植物供观赏，如色彩鲜艳的菌类和弧形的树杆。

There are lots of attractive nature objects you can take picture with, such as fungus and the interesting root arch as below.

这陀黄色菌类就像拨开的陈皮，从远处看我还以为是谁把陈皮撒了满地！

This fungus is look like a orange skin, i thought someone throw the orange skins everywhere if see from far.

第二次渡河。

The second river crossing.

1小时步行，我们终于抵达Jeram Tinggi瀑布。

1 hour trekking from the carpark, soon we reached the Jeram Tinggi Fall.

这就是Jeram Tinggi瀑布。以前曾到过这的访客在瀑布旁插了面马来西亚国旗。

Jeram Tinggi Fall. A Malaysia flag is placed by the side of the waterfall, propably is left by the group who had an event here before.

据资料显示，Jeram Tinggi瀑布是古时的昔加莫与马六甲商贸之路-- 丝绸之路的必经地点。

According to online info, Jeram Tinggi Fall is located along the ancient commercial route between Segamat & Melaka, named as "Silk Route".

最近的一次的Jeram Tinggi瀑布探访，我们找到了地图里显示就在附近的一座小瀑布，位于另一条支流上。

Recently we revisited the Jeram Tinggi Fall and found this cascade on a nearby tributary.
