Bubu Waterfall

我就在Kuala Kangsar长大，但从来没听过这瀑布，是在对这路牌的好奇心及机缘巧合下与小弟进入Kuala Dal村里一探，才知道这瀑布的存在。

从Kuala Kangsar使用1号公路往Padang Rengas方向前进，在经过接驳高速公路的立交桥后不远，就会见到这Bubu保护森林的牌子，而Bubu瀑布就在保护区里头。

I am growing up in Kuala Kangsar but i never heard about Bubu Fall before. It is all about curious and fate, we know the waterfall after i explored around with my brother because of the yellow signboard.

Take road no.1 from Kuala Kangsar to Padang Rengas, not too far away after the flyover connect to the North South Highway, a small yellow signboard indicated Bubu Forest Reserve can be seen on the left. Bubu Fall is located whithin forest reserve.

进入Kuala Dal村及渡过一道铁桥。

Pass through Kpg. Kuala Dal and a small metal bridge.

当看到这路名牌子时就需转右。

Turn right when saw this road name signborad.

接着不远转左进入隧道，隧道上就是南北大道了。

Turn left into the tunnel which is not too far away, above is the North South Highway.

从隧道出来后转左，沿着这Jalan Lata往内行驶。接着就会经过Dalam Dal村及果园。此时越往内走环境就越偏僻。在某些沿河路线，马路变得有些狭窄。当来到一个Y叉路口时，左边的路线是通往一个油棕种植园，而右边杂草丛生，只剩一条小径的，就是通往Bubu瀑布的路线（同是柏油路）。所以把车停在附近并步行前往瀑布。

Turn left after out from the tunnel, drive along the Jalan Lata towards another village, Kpg. Dalam Dal and some orchards. Some of the road along the river is quite narrow. When come to a Y junction, left road will be ended at a oil palm plantation, while right road is to Bubu Fall. The road is almost covered by overgrown bushes. So park the car here and start walking. 

沿着柏油路步行走上山坡。山坡的尽头有个小停车场，但现在车子已无法抵达。以下的照片是在2010年拍摄。

Follow the tarred raod and walk up the slopes. A small car park is at the end of the slope, now is not accessible by car. The photo below is taken in 2010.

第一层瀑布就在溪流的下方。

This is the 1st cascade. which is located at the below of the carpark..

这就是Bubu主瀑布。由于需要步行在湿滑的石面上，所以比较难接近。

The main tier Bubu Fall is a bit hard to reach, only can be reached by walking on the slippery rockface. 

Bubu第三层瀑布，年轻人最爱在这约10米高的湿滑斜坡滑进底下的小水池。这照片是在旱季时拍摄，所以水流量不见得多。

Third tier of Bubu Fall is a slide, youngster love to hang around here, enjoy the approx 10m slide into the pool below. The water volume is fairly low during dry season.

沿着瀑布旁往山坡上走去，只见有个小蓄水池及河堤，据说是在英殖民时期建造。

Further up the slide is a small dam, someone said it was built during British Colonial time.
